These are the terms for using Cashor. If something here is unclear, write to hello@cashor.app and we'll explain it.
What you're agreeing to
By creating a Cashor account or using anything at cashor.app or app.cashor.app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Cashor.
Who can use Cashor
- You're at least 18 years old.
- You're running a legal business or sole proprietorship.
- You're based in the United States. We'll expand to other countries; we're not there yet.
- One Cashor account per business. If you run more than one business, open one account per business.
Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone. There is no password to forget and no password to leak. That also means your phone is the key to your account. Keep it locked. If your phone is lost or compromised, tell us at support@cashor.app and we'll lock the account while you sort it out.
What Cashor does and doesn't promise
We promise to operate Cashor in good faith, with reasonable uptime targets. You can see current status at /status. We do not promise zero downtime, zero bugs, or that the app will fit every job you do. Cashor is software. You are the business. You're responsible for the work you deliver, the customers you choose to take on, the prices you set, and your taxes.
Payments
When a customer pays through a Stripe pay link, Stripe is the processor of record. Cashor never holds your funds. Money moves directly from your customer to your bank account through Stripe. Stripe's terms apply to those transactions.
When you mark an invoice as paid in Zelle, cash, Venmo, or check, that's a record-keeping action inside Cashor. We do not move money on those rails. We do not verify that the payment actually landed. You're the one who can see your bank account; we trust your "mark it paid" tap.
Acceptable use
Don't use Cashor for fraud, illegal work, harassment, or to contact people who haven't given you permission to contact them. We follow the telecom carrier rules for SMS. If your business line gets flagged for spam by carriers, we may suspend outbound messaging on that line until it's resolved. Repeat or severe violations may result in account termination.
Content you upload
Your customer contacts, job notes, quote and invoice line items, photos, and messages remain yours. By using Cashor, you grant us a limited license to process that content for the sole purpose of running Cashor for you, including showing your quotes and invoices to your customers. We will never sell your data and we will never use your data for advertising targeting.
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime in Settings. Your data is exportable for up to 90 days after cancellation, then we delete it (other than what we're required to keep for tax or dispute records). Cancellation does not refund prepaid periods unless we've materially failed to deliver the service.
Fees
Pricing is in the app under Settings > Billing. We are transparent about every charge. We do not add hidden fees. If we change pricing for an existing customer, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
Liability
Cashor is provided "as is." We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. We're not liable for lost profits, lost business, lost data beyond what we can restore from backups, or for the outcomes of your business. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us for Cashor in the 12 months before the claim. Some states do not allow these limits; if you live in one of them, the limits apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes, we will notify you in the app at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of Cashor after the change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless we both agree to arbitration.
SMS terms
Program name. Cashor. Operator Messaging.
Opt-in. By providing your mobile phone number during sign-up or sign-in and consenting to receive messages, you opt in to SMS messages from Cashor. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on usage. Typical active operators receive 5 to 50 messages per month from Cashor directly, plus automated assistant replies sent on their behalf.
Msg & data rates may apply. Cashor does not charge a per-message fee, but your carrier may.
STOP. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one confirmation message. Opting out of security one-time-passcode messages will prevent login on that account; OTP delivery continues for that purpose.
HELP. Reply HELP to any message for support information, or email support@cashor.app.
